I'm not great at writing about myself or even talking about myself to others...some would say I'm guarded. But really I'm just shy. I was born and raised in Southern California, LA area. I love the sun, warm weather, the ocean, flip flops(and heels), year round amazing weather, music, art and soooo much more. I moved to Las Vegas almost 5 years ago after living in Canada for two years. I recently renewed my membership on this site after taking some time off from the on-line dating world...(however, I really didn't participate the first time)...Lately I have been thinking I may have better luck with meeting someone on Match(this second time) than in the club/bar or lounge scene....Truth be told, I'm completely over the club scene(unless I have friends in town). And to be completely honest, the men I'm usually attracted to, are not the men who enjoy spending ridiculous amount of money on bottles of alcohol, to seem cool, feel cool and have random girls mooching off the booze.
I'm hoping and would like to meet someone with the same interests and desires. Someone who is intelligent, charming, creative, active, spontaneous, healthy, loves animals and most important respectful to himself and to others. A true gentleman who loves life and is grateful to be alive!!! Oh and someone who loves to travel....I'm heading to Southeast Asia to explore Thailand for my first time the month of April and could not be more excited!!!!
Some of my interests and important factors of my life would be I am extremely active and enjoy every moment doing something physically/mentally challenging......My ideal match would be fit and enjoy doing same type of activities...I would not be a good match for a man who does not like to workout, has not worked out in 2 years, would rather sit in front of the TV then to get up, get out and enjoy the day! If you find yourself with a pessimistic outlook on life, we definitely would not be a match. Lol! I am happiest when I am spending time outdoors......Anything that has to do with the earth's natural beauty, I always have a blast(snowboarding, hiking, camping, jogging, concerts, festivals, etc)! I have no drama in my life by choice. I don't enjoy drama nor do I create drama. One of the main reason I do not like to date men with children. It's not because of their amazing children But because of the Baby mama drama that seems to follow!
I enjoy reading a good book, going to the gym, cooking, spending time with friends and eating healthy...sometimes treating myself to dessert in moderation. I have a strong passion for food!! I'm in my element when I am enjoying good food, good wine and good company!
One thing I have realized about myself - I don't really enjoy spending a whole lot of time on-line. Could be the main reason I didn't have much luck the first time I put myself out there like this....It may take a while before I respond to someone and rarely do I find interest to do my own searching. I honestly would rather be doing something outside, something around my home, spending time with my friends, my pets, basically anything else rather then spending hours in front of a computer. I'm sure you are asking "how does she expect to find love on-line?" Lol... Well,...I'm not sure. Been asking myself the same question.... I guess I am searching for someone who stands out and believes I do too! Could I find that person on-line? Well, I have yet to find that person in my everyday life. So I am giving on-line dating a chance.
One of my favorite quote “Life is a cruel teacher. She loves to give you the test first and the lesson later.” I have found this to be so true in my life. I strongly believe all things happen for a reason!
