I'm originally from the Houston/Galveston area. Moved to SA for work and work's kept me here...for now. Sorry, SA folks, but let's just say I'm open to possibilities..
I'm a strong, confident, POSITIVE and driven person that LOVES LIFE. I believe true relationships of any sort come when you can be who you genuinely are. Also, I'm very honest--even blunt, so if someone isn't ready for the truth, he/she may not want to ask me. :-D The two words most commonly used to describe me are "real" and "outgoing". And I hope they're not referring to "When keeping it real goes wrong!". Lol.
I don't have the typical girl's perspective. I'm also a pretty tough girl. Only having brothers and being close to my dad, means I've always just tended to get along better with the guys. I love sports--both playing and watching. Basketball is my favorite. Yeah, I'm a 5'2" chick that likes to ball--what! (And, I wouldn't necessarily call what I do balling...lol.) I also play softball & co-ed flag football--well, I did until I tore my ACL & meniscus. I'm a year out since surgery though, so I'm excited to start getting back to sports! I pretty much love any good competitions.
I LOVE TO LAUGH and have a good time. My sense of humor is very sarcastic and if a guy is too sensitive, I'm sure I'd be too much for him (not to mention, he'd likely be too little for me.) When a guy can go toe-to-toe with me and the laughs just keep coming--that just can't be beat!
I am ALWAYS up to try something new and adventurous! I'm very much a competitive tom-boy but I still love to wear dresses and feel feminine and pretty. I also don't believe in taking ourselves too seriously, so I'm always joking. And, yes, my mom STILL asks me when I'm going to grow up! The answer: probably never--if growing up means I can't be a kid at heart.
Most importantly, I try to live by these philosophies: DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU'D HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU; There's SOMETHING GOOD ABOUT EVERY PERSON, if you JUST TAKE THAT STICK OUT OF YOUR BOOTY and give them a chance; FORGIVENESS and TRUTH frees everyone; LIFE'S TOO SHORT NOT TO BE HAPPY; and most of all, GOD HAS A PLAN--and if we're PATIENT, it will be BETTER THAN ANY PLAN WE COULD HAVE IMAGINED OURSELVES!!
