ABOUT HIM & WHO HE'S LOOKING FOR

I can be a bit reserved at first but really tend to open up once you get to know me, and vice versa. I grow on people.

Laughing with people- or whatever really, I'll crack jokes with your pets, I don't discriminate- is just about my favorite thing, ever. Except for maybe French fries. And screwdrivers (the drink). And world peace. And Mitch Hedberg. And garbage disposals. And magic (see garbage disposals). And electricity, (see magic). And parentheses. And screwdrivers (the tool, pretty handy).

I wish I knew exactly who I was looking for, and where exactly they were right about now, but if that were true I probably wouldn't be here. Maybe I should say I wish I knew exactly who was looking for me? Or, more specifically, I should say that I hope the person looking for me is kind and empathetic, loves to laugh, hates it when they hurt animals in movies, appreciates fallibility but embraces happiness, and knows exactly what Snoop Dog uses to clean his whites.

List time.

Favorite Movies: Almost any western, Out of Sight, Wes Anderson (except Darjeeling. Just didnt work for me). Die Hard. Point Break. Die Hard and Point Break. Shawshank Redemption. The Other Guys- I always thought I wasn't a huge Will Ferrell fan, and man was I wrong. Also, Marky Mark = comedic genius. This is one I really could go on forever.

Favorite Books: To Kill A Mockingbird is probably my all time favorite book, though it has been years since I have read it. Same goes for Cather In The Rye and Salinger in general. I like the modern classics like Gatsby, and most Hemingway, but don't really go for the classic classics. Starting to read some Philip K. Dick (mind blown, I think?). Jonathan Carroll, Cheever and Carver, Steinbeck and Saroyan, and honestly, some other writers that I'm pretty sure weren't full blown alcoholics. Yea, Michael Chabon. I don't know him, but I'm pretty sure he has it pretty together.

Interests:
Book club, Coffee and conversation, Cooking, Dining out, Hobbies and crafts, Movies/Videos, Exploring new areas, Performing arts, Travel/Sightseeing, Watching sports, Wine tasting
Sports & exercise:
Baseball, Football, Golf, Other types of exercise
Exercise habits:
I exercise 1-2 times per week
Pets:
I have Dogs
Pet Essay:

I have a Pomeranian mix that I adopted with another a couple years ago and he stayed with me. He's a handle, but he's worth it. Also, he paces in circles often and only to the left, which is pretty awesome. And entertaining.

Liberal

For fun:

Movies, finding new restaurants, comedy shows, bars with friends, football. Some years golf, some years anything but. Like most, I enjoy spending time with my family and my friends, though not always in that order.

Favorite hot spots:

I like a good dive bar, or a fancy night out. Also, hotel bars are my absolute favorite. Happy hours are a great time and I usually enjoy sharing food (2 orders of fries may be necessary).
Movie night at home, game night with friends, and day trips

Favorite things:

Movies, Amazon, football, other sports, making ringtones (really like that), video games (I know), fantasy football (I know). Tapatio and cholula. Technology, when it works. Animals. Funny cat gifs - no joke. All the stuff I talked about above.

Last read:

I have always been a fiction guy, and I usually go straight to that wall when I get to 1/2 Price Books. I am currently reading When We Were Orphans (Kazuo Ishiguro) right now, but I'll be honest, I'm not making quick work of it
