I'm a graduate student in the medical sciences who loves her job, friends, and family. Education is very important to me - both degree-wise and also lifestyle-wise (yay for NPR!). I usually like to keep my nights low-key, but I do enjoy getting dressed up and going out and dancing, socializing, etc. I have an adorable pug, whose only downside is that she snores (you've been warned!). During the summer I like to get out and hike, bike, and explore the area. I'm not a big fan of being outside when it's cold and/or rainy - so I'm ready for Spring already!
I absolutely love love science and news, so I guess that makes me a nerd? I specialize in genomics and cancer. Would love to meet someone with an interest in science and/or background in computers/tech stuff.
One benefit of being a grad student is the flexible schedule. It has allowed me to travel to Europe once a year for the past 3 years (might not make it this year though) and travel within the US too. Last spring I went to Arizona with my sister and we had an amazing time scrambling up hills in Sedona and trying not to slide down the ice patches (which then thawed into mud for the journey back up) on Bright Angel Trail at the Grand Canyon. Looking for someone I can share similar adventurous (but not too adventurous!) travels with.
So if you're a tall, educated, agnostic/atheist dog-loving man in the Baltimore area, who likes to travel, let's meetup for coffee or a drink!
