ABOUT HIM & WHO HE'S LOOKING FOR

I'm originally from Lancaster, PA (one of the Nation's largest populations of Amish people and Dutch Apple Pie). When I turned 16, I learned to drive stick shift around Amish buggies and in 10th grade home economics, I made the worst apple pie. Fortunately, I built good bird houses in the Boy Scouts, got good grades, and played lots of sports. That makes me normal, right?

When I turned 21, I was a scholar of the arts and sciences. I was finishing up my Bachelor of Science at Penn State (GO LIONS!) and refined my Master in the Art of drinking, tailgating, and culinary economics (i.e. I made one mean bowl of Ramen Noodles).

Then my mid-twenties. I moved around to different cities: Cincinnati, Milwaukee, San Francisco, and finally Baltimore. I watched a lot of friends get married, have kids, buy new cars, build new houses, and make a lot of money. I thought they really made something for themselves. But I think I have them all beat...I adopted two puppies: a black and yellow lab. Those two crazy pups truly put my life into perspective. I mean, if those two crazy tail-wagging, tongue slurping pups get sight of a bowl of dry Purina, a milk bone, and a good looking Chiwowa, it's like Heaven hit them on the head.

So now a days, I don't see many Amish buggies or Dutch Apple Pie. I still play sports, but it has evolved from volleyball and basketball to golf, skiing, and kickball. I've upgraded from Ramen Noodles to Panera Bread and Baja Fresh. And my puppies are dogs who spend a lot of their time at my sister's house (they like me more, but don't tell her that). I spend a lot of time in the office and I travel at least once a month for work or to visit friends.

As for the person I'm looking for...she's an active, independent, intelligent women, who my friends adore when they first meet, can hold a conversation about life's most important things and the dumb stuff you see on TV, will be excited about pajama movie night, will make fun of me for the homemade dinner that I ruined, but hands out high fives, hugs, and a kiss for that awesome margarita that I mixed.
