Thanks for stopping by my profile! I consider myself happy, funny, and a little dorky. I am kind of quiet in groups or in new settings, but I love good conversations, laughing and building new friendships. I'd say that overall I lead a pretty typical life for a 30-something professional... during the week, work takes most of my energy so I typically do more low-key things like go out to dinner with friends, watch TV/movies at home, run errands, do house projects or go for walks/bike rides. I'm currently on aligned to a project that gives me the opportunity to travel a few days a week, but I'm around for every weekend and the will be done with the travel in May.
Over the weekends, I am more likely to be on the go. I like the excitement of trying new things and the comfort of the familiar favorites - exploring new parks to hike and lakes to kayak in, visiting my family around the US, watching sports (go Vikings!) or checking out events/shows around the metro. I'm not really a night owl and at this point in life most of my friends are settled down with kids so going out is an occasional treat rather than a regular activity. I attend a non-denominational church regularly and would either like to be with someone who's interested in going with me or someone who will respect this aspect of my life. I'll also mention that while I love the Twin Cities, I am also open to living in other parts of the country at some point in the future.
I'm hoping to meet someone who wants to hang out regularly so if my secret master plan all works out, we will have started to build an awesome life together... the exciting, the meaningful and the daily. Simply, I just want to meet a truly nice guy who wants to be a part of my life and to include me in his. I like to be with someone who has stepped out of their comfort zone to experience a little bit of life however you define it and I prefer a man that is willing to take the lead (I'm not the type of girl that wants to be in charge in a relationship). Extra points go to those that are educated, stable, funny, outgoing and manly ;)
So with all that said, I am looking to meet someone who is interested in finding the right person (me, of course!) to build a relationship that could lead to marriage and kids at some point down the line. While each relationship starts in a different way, I'm not looking for one night stands, FWB or any other sort of casual relationship.
