Essay:
I am a graduate student studying history finishing up my masters degree. I work in the medical field because, well, I have a history degree. I plan to go on for my doctorate in Modern European History. When I'm not all serious and studious, I am interested in a lot of things some may consider nerdy but are just fun. Disney, Harry Potter, Glee, etc. I can be serious and intelligent but I can also be a big kid. I love music, hearing it and making it. I enjoy reading but I am still in school so I don't get to read too much outside of my studies. I volunteer for the Trevor Project and I am very passionate about equal rights. Choosing European history means I can travel and I love to do so as much as possible. Germany is a popular destination due to the nature of my studies but I want to go everywhere and experience all different cultures. I love food and trying new things, just don't tell me what I'm eating until I eat it. I'm looking for someone who is low key, who is willing to meet someone without putting too much pressure on a relationship. Let's just go with the flow and see where it takes us. I am willing to strike up a friendship with anyone who seems like a good person who is up for good times and good conversation. However, I am pretty strict on the age issue so if you fall outside of the 5 year window I put up, please respect that I am not interested in starting a romantic relationship. I have my reasons for this but, like I said, I could always use more friends!
