I recently decided to switch things up and make life a bit more entertaining. The keyboard and carpel tunnel weren’t doing it for me, so I decided to ditch the business casual for a dirty t-shirt and work for a non-profit builder instead. I'm hoping to seek newer and bigger things to do and meet quality people to do them with.
Here's a little about me, in interview form, for a preview of who I am. Remember that thing about switching things up?
Q. Let’s start simple. What simple pleasure in life do you enjoy the most? (No apologies for pun).
A. Great conversation with great people.
That, or making great people feel really uncomfortable.
Q. What are 10 characteristics that describe the woman you’re looking for?
A. Adventurous, independent, funny, laid-back, open-minded, kind, caring, responsible, creative, and motivating.
Q. What do like most about your job?
A. I like that I'm doing something completely different. I didn't really expect to leave a life of consulting work to play Bob the Builder, but I'm happy I did. I love being out in the sun and working with people. Whether it's volunteers or homeowners, seeing people of different backgrounds working together in a common venue is awesome. Oh, and all the construction stuff makes me feel pretty macho, so that's always a plus.
Q. As this is a site for meeting other people, what is one question that you would want to ask your date?
A. I think I’d have to ask about her most spontaneous adventure. It’s incredibly gratifying when a poorly planned, last minute trip ends up being a complete success. There’s a lot you can learn about someone from the crazy adventures they take and how they handle the things that go wrong. A little bit of foolishness and an "oh well, why not?" attitude can go a long way.
Q. While we’re on that subject, what is one question that you would want your date to ask you?
A. If you could relive 24 hours of your life, what would you relive?
