Today at work no less than 2 little old ladies asked me to marry them. Never a dull moment in the life of a surgeon. But my life isn't all work and no play-- at any given moment you may find me in the water, on the golf course, or smooching my dog's face. I actually stop to smell roses... and my dog's paws (which incidentally smell like Fritos). I get goosebumps hearing a particular chord progression or catching the perfect wave. I get crazy watching Duke basketball and Chargers football and any given sunday you can find me jamming with my band, which consists of three married women, two of which are pregnant.. not mine of course. ;)
New Orleans is one of my favorite places because it revels in its decadence -- the intoxicating architecture, history, food, music, open-air drinks in beautful southern courtyards.... I live for sensory things like this. I prefer the Four Seasons, but a night under the stars can be equally enchanting.
About the one I'm looking for:
Someone who can talk about what makes her tick and is confident enough to be vulnerable. Someone who will laugh at me when I do something goofy. Someone who will make me forget about the rest of the world.
