Do you like nerds? Well, I may be what you're looking for.
I am originally from North Carolina but have lived in Louisiana for the past 12 years working as an illustrator-product designer for an infant care company. Most of my friends happen to be coworkers.
I'm looking to make a connection with someone on here that is open minded, intelligent and fun to be around. I'd like to find somebody with similar interests that I can talk to. I love board games and card games. I've recently "discovered" Settlers of Catan, and it is a totally awesome board game. I love comedy in all of it's various and sundry forms. One of my favorite things right now is the improv4humans podcast. It never disappoints. I like comic books and cartoons. My absolute favorite cartoon is Adventure Time. If you haven't watched it, well, I don't know what to say. It has this tendency to be one of the most poignantly and bittersweet things on television.
I'm loyal, honest, caring and intelligent. I'm kind of shy at first, but as you get to know me, I think you'll find I can be kind of funny and cute. I think have a dry, sarcastic wit. I like to draw and create. Here is my favorite quote by the artist Hokusai:

The point Hokusai making is that he knows that he doesn't really know anything at all. It's encouraging somehow.
I have that kind of passion for drawing. I'd rather look at a Rembrandt drawing or etching that one of his paintings.
I've had a revelation recently. I've found out that I'm governed by the air element. Simply put, I'm a thinker and am in my own head a lot. I think an earthy type would be a good balance for me. You know someone to ground me so to speak.
