I enjoy living each day to its fullest. I'm a "glass half full" person who lives a healthy lifestyle without being fanatical about it. Life is too short not to splurge occassionally. I'm very low maintenance, self-sufficient, don't do drama or dwell on past events; I've learned from those challenges and moved on. My children are a huge part of my life and my first priority. I especially enjoy taking care of my family and my home. I'm very family and career focused with a small circle of friends.
I'm an early riser, run three or four times a week and maintain an active lifestyle. My work allows for some travel and I've been afforded many opportunities to visit some interesting places within the U.S. Without writing a novel here, I also enjoy going to movies, wine tasting events, coffee shops, cultural and sporting events, entertaining with friends and so much more. Weekend getaways to the beach or mountains are fun, and so is staying in every now and then. Other favorites include hiking, walking, bike riding, and gardening. Giving and helping others are a large part of who I am, along with attending church with my family.
What I'm looking for...intellectual and stimulating conversation, spontaneity, companionship, and fun. Passion and humor are must haves, along with someone who takes pride in their appearance, knows what he wants and chooses to be with someone rather than having to be wih someone. It's a huge plus if you live an active lifestyle and enjoy living life without too many boundaries. Capitalizing on opportunities are risks worth taking; the trick is realizing when they present themselves.
I am not interested in long distance relationships, someone reaching for anyone just to avoid being alone or looking for that instant family. I am selectively single, tend to be a very private person, maintain high standards and never settle. I will, however, open up to the right person and am extremely loyal and committed. I'm an observer and doer. Actions speak volumes.
