Hello there! I am a high school/middle school library media specialist and teacher. I am seeking to meet someone who would be my best friend and likes to have fun as much as I do!
I have many interests and am usually willing to try new things (not really excited by the idea of skydiving). I enjoy cycling, swimming, canoeing, soccer, volleyball, hiking, singing, dancing, eating out, attending concerts, museums, theater events, watching movies (especially comedy, action, suspense and sci-fi, but, definitely not horror), cooking, making lists (:P), reading, playing board games, card games, or video games, and being with family and friends. I am not a huge sports watcher, though I do watch the occasional basketball game and I am a huge fan of the Olympics (I hardly miss an event or day). I also really enjoy playing strategy games and matching wits with a worthy opponent. I also like discussing science, psychology, current events, philosophy, and pop culture to hear others points of view. I love to laugh and enjoy witty conversation with others.
Music has always been a big part of my life. I have been in numerous choirs and musicals over the years and I have enjoyed singing immensely. I also like playing the acoustic guitar, but it is always more fun if I can play for or with others! As for my taste in music, it is quite varied. I suppose I would have to say I enjoy classic rock the most, but modern rock, pop, and classical music are all close seconds. I'm not overly fond of rap. I do love to dance, but only if I have a partner to dance with.
My Christian faith is very important to me and I am looking to meet someone with similar values. Denomination doesn't matter. Christianity is Christianity after all. I love children and would eventually like to have them some day.
