I’m a pretty easy-going, happy guy who smiles a lot. I prefer casual atmospheres and places just to ‘hang out’. I’m pretty good with my hands, and like to build/fix things, although I recently moved from country living to city dwelling, and don’t do as much handy work as before. I’m not great in the kitchen, but I’m excellent on the grill or any kind of BBQ. I like to get out and have fun with friends and family. I’m a big music fan, and enjoy live music and festivals. I’ll admit it – I like beer. Sort of the way a lot of people like wine. Not over the top, but more of an enthusiast. I love my mother (and miss my Dad), and am very close to my brother/sisters.
I'm old-fashioned and like to treat women and those who deserve it with respect and dignity. That's me in a nutshell. I'm the guy who will help people move, fix their car or whatever is broke around the house, and not complain but rather enjoy the chance to help others. I’ve lived in Texas all my life, and still embrace southern hospitality. I'm not trying to 'fix' anyone, but rather just be there when needed. I'm honest and expect the same from anyone.
My two kids both attend UofH and are living with me until they graduate. I’m a baseball fan, but also enjoy college football and can enjoy any sport if it provides a chance to get together with friends. Was married for 27 years, and divorced for a couple of years (no drama) - I’m looking for that new best friend. I like to travel (anywhere). I’m looking for someone to take (or take me) to some exotic places to experience cultures and adventures.
Lately I've been hitting the Braes Bayou trail on my bike - got out of the habit for a while, so it feels good again.
