About a year ago, my curly hair straightened out and, a month ago, I got a puppy. And so two of my teenaged dreams came true. Still working on a few of the others -- writing a book, for one, and visiting Mar. Yes, I was the kind of girl who dreamed of being an astronaut.
To describe myself: I am tall, funny, pretty, and kind, and word has it that I smile more than most people. I spend a great deal of time on the subway, but with a novel in hand, I don't mind. I write and teach writing to college students. I love biking, yoga, reading, talking, talking some more and booking tickets to places I've never been: in three weeks, I'll be in Cuba.
