Ok, here goes...I'm a forensic science geek. Picture Abby Sciutto from NCIS with fewer tattoos and less Caff Pow. I love what I am trained for, but government jobs are tough to come by these days. Persistence will pay off someday, but I enjoy my current job. I've gone from a shipping lackey to manager of manufacturing at a growing robotics and electronics company in less than a year. Basically I keep a bunch of twenty-something electrical and mechanical engineers on task and entertained and make sure they don't screw up. The people I work with are intelligent, talented and quirky so, of course, going to work is a blast. I love bringing in homemade baked goodies for everyone I work with (60 people) I get a bite of something yummy and it seems to make their day.
I've lived on the East Coast, the Midwest, Florida, and now Vegas - I feel like I've learned a lot and met people from all walks of life. I like spending time with friends or going out for drinks after work, but I also cherish my "me time". I'm very down to earth, don't like all the games and drama. I definitely appreciate the old fashioned approach to romance, getting to know you, the courtship...
Friends have told me I have an "interesting" sense of humor...sometimes dry and sarcastic, sometimes cheesy and goofy. Anyone who gets Monty Python...we'll get along just fine. I recently joined an amateur pool league just to see how I stack up and have some fun - I'm no shark but I'm not too shabby.
