Hey guys! My name is Christy and I like to think of myself as someone who just enjoys life. I just moved to Jacksonville this past summer, and so far, it has been great! I'm originally from West Virginia, but I've lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee for the past 6 years. I definitely miss the mountains, but luckily I love the beach, so it seemed like a fair trade-off.
I graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2006, and then finished up my MBA at Kennesaw State University in GA in 2009. Yes, I am a nerd. I'm currently working as an analyst at Citi. But enough wit the boring stuff...
My 2 dogs are my children. Sam is a chihuahua-yorkie (3), and Chaco is a dachshund-corgi mix (2). We miss hiking every weekend, but they are slowly getting acclimated to beach-life. I don't have any other family close i the area, so it's always nice when the holidays come around so I can visit. Thankfully I've met some great friends so far, and they've become my second family.
I try not to get too crazy during the week- basically just work, working out, and hanging with the dogs. But I do enjoy going out on the weekends. I like sleeping in, watching movies, eating out, and relaxing with a few cocktails. I love traveling when I have the time, and will take a trip to an amusement park whenever I get the chance.
I tried to stay away from these dating sites as long as I could, but then eventually it hit me that it couldn't hurt to see what's out there. I'm not getting any younger, and if anything, it seems like a great way to meet some new people. Eventually I would like to meet my best friend- someone who can make me pee my pants laughing, will travel the world with me, to have romantic nights with, or just sit around and watch tv with me! I'm definitely enjoying life right now, but would love to have a companion to share everything with!
