I bought a condo and moved back to Huntington Beach after a year and a half living downtown in LA. I love the beach and being back in HB but there's just something special about downtown LA. I mean, you just don't see a bum dressed as a pirate peeing on a parking meter on the way to work in HB. I rescued a puppy from a shelter last year so days are full of runs in the morning and the dog park or beach on the weekends. She's a handful but well worth it. Just watch the tail. It's been known to leave bruises. I am a bit of a geek. Okay, maybe more than a bit. But I am in the gym 4 or 5 days a week. I love baseball, occasionally train for triathlons. I love to paint but don't do it as much as I'd like to. I tend to be really shy when I first meet people but that doesn’t seem to last long. My wit leans toward the quick and sarcastic (yet not mean spirited) but can be on the goofy side at times. I've skipped down the hall at work with a dainty gift bag just to make a friend’s day. I work for a toy company, so as chance would have it, that wasn’t so out of place. Working for a toy company also lets my friends tell their kids I work for Santa and show up with toys and games. You should see their faces light up. Awesome. But I digress. As for how I spend my free time... my nights and weekends are spent reading, netflixing, working out, running, hanging with friends, eating sushi and mexican food, game night with the family, and the occasional camping trip, ballgame or river run. A Vegas trip is always a possibility too but not so much as maybe 10 years ago. I listen to music non-stop while at work so it’s a big part of my life. Indie, punk, jazz, metal, blues, even a little classical. I used to go to see bands on a weekly basis. Sadly that isn’t as frequent as before but I still like to go to the occasional show. This is the most I’ve ever described myself in any way in one sitting so I think I’ll end it there.
