I am a very laid back person who enjoys getting out, socializing, and trying new things whenever I can. Being new to the Columbus area I am trying out as many food places as I can to find the best of around here. Also trying to scope out a good bar to hang out at for games, after work, or just casually. I could not live without humor and it is a must in my life. I am starting to write down jokes and ideas for sketches so that sometime I can get back into comedy (standup or improv). I am also a big family person even though my family is relatively small. I am first generation dutch and love having family in Europe. I am kind of over the bar scene though not opposed to going to bars. I would rather take that time trying out new things than drinking. I think of myself as easily approachable and easy to talk to. I also like puzzles (sudoku, puzzle puzzles, trinket puzzles). What else, uhh, I don't have a facebook account and haven't for a few years. Yes, I did have one, back in college, when it was just for college kids. I have never broken a bone, favorite ice cream is just plain old strawberry, my room at my parents is haunted, I like to chop firewood, I cook a mean burger, I am terribly inflexible, I like the smell of chlorine after swimming, and I like to ramble sometimes.
I like cooking, learning new coding languages, building websites, going out on weekends, drinking with friends, socializing, exercising, training martial arts, making friends, and thinking about the beach. As for my job I am a software developer currently building websites (only the pretty stuff, the stuff you see and interact with). I love what I do and will continue to do it as long as I can. I hope after some time in Columbus to find a house to buy, or a condo, something more long term than an apartment. I would also like to get a dog at some point, but want to make sure they have a place to play wherever I live.
I hope to find someone with a fun personality, who is open-minded, easy going, honest, caring, funny, and happy. I want a best friend and also someone I can share my life with.
