I'm an investigative reporter, screenwriter, novelist film producer and and non-fiction book writer now living in Santa Barbara. Divorced. An Emmy winning ex-correspondent for ABC News, I traveled the world, then quit to become a screenwriter when our first child was born. I was traveling 100k miles a year and wanted to be in one town as he grew up. My ex-wife and I had a very painful separation in 1995. Divorced in 1998. After that, I dated, slowly, then devoted myself to a new career as a book writer so that I could be in NYC more to be near our three children. After more than half a century, I've found my center and picked up some wisdom; though I'm still as brash and ambitious as I was in my 30's. I'm at the top of my game professionally and would like to find a relationship with a free thinking, woman who still has the stars in her eyes and believes in the endless possibilities of life. As a journalist, I try to use my skills to do stories that improve the human condition. I grew up on the water and love to sail. My favorite poem is Tennyson's Ulysses, which ends, "It's not too late to seek a newer world. My purpose holds...To strive to seek, to find and not to yield."
