I am an active person who has a wide variety of interests and hobbies. I work in the rocket business as a program manager and enjoy it alot. I enjoy and appreciate creativity. I like technical things as well as art and design. Oil painting is a favorite hobby as is investing and reading. Have a high curiosity level particularly with cars, airplanes, history, art, architecture, people and the creative process. I like to stay in shape and have been going to gyms since 7th grade. In the past, have been a glider pilot and scuba diver but no time to stay current. My family is most important to me and I consider myself very fortunate to have a very close and large one. It is so cool watching the nephews and nieces grow up and nurture their minds. A large family with alot of kids is such a blessing. Character, honesty, doing the right thing, confidence without arrogance are all very important to me.
I probably appear a little over active to some people - drive some of them a little crazy from time to time. Have a very good sense of humor. Like to stay aware of world affairs, business and football season. At times can be overactive, over serious, sometime mischievous, always a little different. Generally, I am pretty wide ranging in interests and can converse on many different subjects. Life has been good so far and it has been fun doing the single guy stuff with a very full plate.
I would like to find someone who is energetic, accomplished, curious, family oriented and maybe a little different. Must have a great sense of humor. A sense of style and poise under pressure is also attractive. Intelligence and creativity is irresistible. A woman's ability to calm with that look in her eyes is also irresistible. Tolerance of differences and curiosity to try new things is key. And yet without kindness and compassion, all this counts for nothing. With the right company I pretty much enjoy doing anything, as Steve Jobs says " the journey is the reward". Guess I'm looking for a soulmate to have a combination of tranquility and peaceful home life with an over active, energetic social calender - hobby filled- see what's around the corner - search the world thing !
