Hi. I’m a single guy with no baggage...not even carry on. (Ok, I’ve got stuff in my pockets, but just the usual: wallet, cell, keys...but no bitter exes). I'm a teacher (high school/English) who happened to have the week off during Thanksgiving so it seemed like a good time to finally take the plunge here. Plus with the holidays coming...you know. I like books, the beach, movies, driving with the top down, and, when not otherwise occupied, just being aggressively lazy. I want to enjoy life with someone smart and attractive. Yes, I love my job but I have other ambitions as well. I read...a lot. I (Presently mostly to finish up a long-delayed master's in English...course work done, thesis project approved, gonna write the thing over the three week Christmas break and be done with it.) I keep fit but you don’t have to be a fitness paragon by any means…just reasonably proportional. I'm easy to talk to. I grew up in New Jersey but please don't hold that against me. I joined this site not long ago and have yet to figure out what I’m even looking at some of the time. An email purportedly from a 70-year-old woman in KANSAS suggested that one of my photos is not altogether unappealing. Is this some kind of scam? A crazy person? Bored admins at Match.com? And what’s up with people posting five pictures all with giant sunglasses? Yikes. Anyway, please write back if you're at all interested!I haven’t done this in a long time, so be nice!
