I'm a Midwestern girl who loves to laugh and appreciates a good steak. I grew up in Omaha, lived in Atlanta for a while and recently moved to Denver. Hooray for low humidity!
I like to try things I haven't done before and travel to places I've never been - locally or abroad. My favorite place abroad is Iceland, but I studied for a semester in Edinburgh, Scotland so that's a close second. I'm getting back into Spanish lessons - my goal is to be fluent, but I'm not there yet. I'm continuously taking classes to learn new things - rowing, dancing, cooking, drawing, yoga, meditation, etc. Now that I'm here, I have to learn how to ski too! My dog Ellie Mae and I love being outdoors on a walk or a hike. In general, I like to be out and about, but am equally happy with a good glass of wine, my feet up on my coffee table and my dog on the couch next to me. And preferably I'm watching something funny.
I'd like to be with a good man who wants to explore and learn with me, but also someone who wants to share his own interests with me too...someone who can teach me how to fish, show me best grilling techniques and go with me to shoot clay pigeons! No idea why, but I'd really like to try that last thing! I hope to find someone to laugh with, someone who isn't afraid to laugh at himself, and who may even be mildly inappropriate at times :-)
