Writing about yourself is always a challenge. You never know what to say, or how to say it. So here goes. I moved to the area about a year go, partly to escape the snow ( I lived in upstate NY) but mostly to be near my family who live in south Jersey. Family is very important to me and I try to get up there and spend time with them whenever I can. The last year has brought alot of changes for me. I relocated away from all of my friends and started anew, I started a new job and then changed jobs. So now that things are finally starting to become normal, I decided it was time for me to try to get out and see the area, and look for someone special.
If you where to ask any of my friends about who I am, they would probably all tell you the same thing. After they stopped telling you how much of a jerk I am, then they would probably say something along the lines of me being a nice and caring guy. I believe in treating a girl the right way, and to be honest I enjoy it. One of my favorite books has a great line in it. Making a girl smile is better than any drug in the world. Well, I have never tried drugs, nor do I plan to, but I honestly enjoy making a girl I care about smile. It is a great rush and alot of fun to figure out ways to do it.
I can be comfortable in just about any situation, from happy hour at a nice bar, to a business function, to rock concert. I love white water rafting and skiing, and there is a part of me that has that adventurous streak. I love to just go out there and do things, but I also enjoy spending the night in, watching a movie or tv show on the couch. I love finding different ways to be active too. Back home, I was involved in a weekly flag football group, I played dodgeball at a local charity fundraiser that was put on weekly, and of swam. In a nutshell I have wide ranging tastes and I love trying new things.
What I am looking for is someone who is upbeat, intelligent and funny. A cohort in crime who can give as good as she gets. Someone who is going to challenge me to grow beyond myself, and who is going to keep an open mind and try new things herself.
