I am a confident, honest, loyal, passionate person who is looking for a long-term relationship. In my opinion, a good relationship is a two-way street that requires excellent communication and the ability to compromise when it’s necessary… I'm also the kind of guy who wears my emotions on my sleeve and have a huge heart to give to the right person.
I enjoy spending time with my family when I get the chance to see them (most live far away), hanging out with friends, cooking (I'm a great cook), playing music, writing songs, going to concerts and music festivals, finding amazing places to explore either outdoors or downtown, watching TED talks, playing video games, watching movies, suiting up for a nice date or a night on the town, continually learning new things, and staying physical fit. MMA is a much more entertaining way to stay in shape than running on a treadmill, am I right!?
I also love to travel and explore whether it’s a random weekend road trip somewhere local or an exotic location overseas. I have lived pretty much all over the United States (West Coast, East Coast, and now the Midwest) and I look forward to traveling overseas. I plan on visiting Europe in the near future, more specifically Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, Japan, and eventually Australia and New Zealand.
I was raised Catholic and remained Catholic for about half of my life which in turn has shaped the ethics and morals that I hold as a person. With that said, I have struggled with faith for quite a long time, but I mainly believe in being a good person and doing what you feel is the right in a given situation. I respect people who have different views on religion and certainly don’t force my beliefs on others. I encourage people to find their own truths. Some of the most influential people to me are Trent Reznor, Maynard James Keenan, Bill Gates, Jacque Fresco, Peter Joseph, Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, the 14th Dalai Lama, Morihei Ueshiba, Bruce Lee, and Sir Ken Robinson to name a few.
I'm looking to meet someone who has a lot of the same values that I find in myself as far as being honest, loyal, confident in their abilities and passionate about what they do. I am looking for someone who sees the world under a different light than the rest and truly understands the value of intelligence, continual learning and thinking for yourself. This person should have a work-hard / play-hard attitude who is driven to succeed, but also knows when to slow down and have fun, has the ability to enjoy the outdoors, enjoys most types of music, and is open and available on an emotional level.
