I'm pretty laid back, I enjoy being around people with a small amount of contemplative alone time mixed in. I used to play football and got into the IT field because it's much easier on the body. I still love watching sports and going to games when I'm able. I like being exposed to new things and places, traveling is something I'd definitely like to do more of, there are tons of great places I've yet to see. I try to find humor in things and enjoy making others laugh even if it's at my own expense, and you can probably always convince me to go see a movie at any moment. I believe in opening doors for women and treating people with kindness, so if that is a turn off you probably shouldn't email me or respond if I email you. Some people have told me that I'm too nice, but don't mistake my kindness for weakness. I still have my nerdy side as I enjoy reading and am fascinated by anything involving history or art, museums etc. I'm not perfect by any means and am not looking for perfection.
I'd like to meet someone who is fun, outgoing and can see the fun in life no matter what they are doing. I think honesty is very important people just need to be who they are, and there is nothing wrong with saying what you think. I'm looking for someone who will say what they think, who will say if they like something but also say if they don't. Someone who is family oriented is a plus, as although my family is very small we are very close. While I have no children I don't mind if you do.
