Life is what you make of it, so I'm trying my best to make the most of what God's given me. I truly believe that what I choose to do for a living should make society a better place, and to that end, I've chosen a career that is extremely rewarding but also extremely demanding....which also means that it's been extremely difficult to meet people outside of my social circle. Hence, online dating!
I'm not your typical LA girl -- I'm down-to-earth, ambitious and I listen to NPR. ;-) Don't get me wrong -- I love shoes and spas as much as the next girl, but I also think it's important to be socially aware and to be a positive contribution to society. Standing around looking pretty all day may be aesthetically pleasing, but it doesn't really do much in terms of making the world a better place. When I'm not working, I try to take care of myself and workout at least 5 times a week. Being healthy and fit is really important to me, and it's something I expect from the man I'm with. You'll rarely find me just sitting on the couch watching tv, unless of course it's hanging out with friends watching a movie (or hanging out with my guy which is always great :-)). I like dressing up for fancy dinners and drinks, but I can also appreciate the cheap hole-in-the-wall restos and dive bars. I'm always up to try new things and explore new places, and am hoping to find someone who feels the same. Experimentation is always a good thing. ;-) As for me in a relationship, I'm fairly chill and don't like to argue, which also means that I'm not into drama AT ALL. I think it's important to respect one another and to understand each other's needs, and to always be there to support one another. I'm not into playing games, wasting time, or meaningless hook-ups. I'm looking for someone who knows what he wants and is looking to pursue a serious relationship.
