I am a progressive teacher by trade and an artist at heart. I have a passion for theater, creative writing and the power of imagination in everything I do and seek.
I usually wear contacts, but have been wearing my glasses on a regular basis for the past few months. I have two pairs. Maybe its a thing for you, maybe its not. Contacts are a comeback now that the sun is shining more (rockin' sunglasses).
My friends tell me I'm loyal, supportive, crafty, and great at baking cookies. They also tell me I'm funny when I don't mean to be, maybe a little gullible, and that I get overly excited about playing board games. The truth is I love to cook, go out to see live theater live music, see movies or do brunch on a whim, make coffee, listen to This American Life, and buy stuff that's green. I am domestic with my creature comforts but love spontaneity and embracing my inner nomad.
I am happy to nosh on spicy tacos at a food truck just as much as I enjoy a gourmet risotto.
I live life for happiness: good friends, fun experiences, supportive work environment and all that. I am dedicated to the teaching profession and I'm always seeking new ways to incorporate my passion for theater and the arts into my teaching practice.
After living in NYC for 7 years, I now live in Jersey City, very close to city transportation and my new teaching job...
