I’m an East Coast transplant who moved to California just a couple years back for graduate school. I grew up in Maryland and have lived in Atlanta, Boston and London, but these days I call San Francisco home.
I’ve had a blast getting to know the area, from hikes to wine country to exploring restaurants. I love food – of all kinds – and my ideal Friday night involves dinner and drinks out or cooking with friends. I love to travel, but I have also realized that people matter just as much as place. In the past couple years I’ve been to South Africa, Thailand, Cambodia and Peru, but I also try to get back to the East Coast to see my family, who I don’t see often enough.
Job-wise, I worked as a strategy consultant for a few years before deciding to focus on education. I recently joined an education technology start up where I work with K-12 schools to bring technology into the classroom. I love that my job involves visiting schools across the country and working closely with principals.
I would say I’m driven by goals but down to earth, and always try to be thoughtful of others. I’d like to meet people who are ambitious, sincere, and have a sense of humor.
