I had put a lot of thought into a previous profile that I had on here describing myself, my likes, my dislikes but getting to know each other the old fashioned way over a drink or dinner is how it should be. So I decided to change my profile and keep it brief.
I’m the proud mom of a 14 year old daughter and a 10 year old son. We have been through a lot and I’m very proud of everything my children have endured and overcome. I’m very family oriented and value my friendships…in the end its family and friends who have stood by our sides and have gotten us through the worse times of our lives. I’m raising my children on my own….very rarely do they see their father (maybe one weekend out of the month, if that)….and I’ll be going back to College soon so that I can hopefully improve our quality of life (it’s very hard, as you know, trying to pay all the bills on one salary). So, I’m busy like everyone else on here. I’m a very easy going person, will do my best to avoid confrontations, and dislike dishonesty, liars and cheaters. I do expect to be treated the same way I treat someone and that is with the utmost respect. Learning about wines and visiting wineries is on my "to do" list.
I'm very skeptical about being on this site, but since I've heard a lot about it from my friends, I figured I'd give it a try. Hopefully, something good will come out of this. If not, at least I tried, right?
