My Dad passed suddenly and he was my hero. The pain... gutwrenching. Life is short and can change in a blink of an eye. No chance for good-byes. My time is precious. He is patient, secure and smart when evaluating an issue he is unsure of. His eyes are genuine. He is commited, as am I. I am a girly-girl and love sexy, but can play like one of the guys and hold my own. I am confident, independent, carry my own weight and have always been successful. We all have a past, some with baggage and even some lingering drama, so don't judge. We all have flaws and they are what makes us unique, beautiful and special. Let people be who they are. Don't try to change or control others. Be flexible. Compromise. Turns out, its not where, but who you're with that really matters. I am not interested in dating people "coming into town". I am NOT looking for a fling, hook-up or one night stand. For the players, I know you well. You can hide your true colors for a short period before you become transparent, weak and pathetic. If you have a drinking or drug problem keep going. If you're age range is 25-50 you obviously don't know what you want, and if your pictures and profile are not who you are... please keep going. I am a woman who has put it out there truthfully and I am seriously looking for "My Mr. Right" and a commited relationship. I have only had that "butterfly feeling" twice in my life. One was from Match so I'll know when I know and hopefully it will be mutual. I've been on MATCH on and off for over 3 years and have met some nice people and made a few good friends. I truly have not had any bad experiences worth mentioning, however on occassion I get an e-mail that is so inappropriate. So to the rare and classless ones who do, send it to your MOTHER instead of me. My priorities in life recently changed from single Mom to single woman so now it's my turn. My 20 year old son has moved on to become a man. He is the greatest gift God ever gave to me. I miss him so much. Although he is 6'2" he is my baby and the love of my life. I have been divorced for almost 10 years and I respect, admire and remain good friends with my ex-husband.
I want to thank all the kind people who sent such nice messages to me regarding my Fathers passing. Although it seems like yesterday, it will be 2 yrs next month. Thank you again so much!
