I'm a hard working, independent single mom with two daughters, 16 and 6. I'm happy with life in general but looking for someone to help make it even better. I smile a lot and love to laugh and am able to laugh at myself. I'm a horrible liar and I truly believe that honesty is the best policy. I'm a little shy but can warm up quickly to certain personalities.
I love all kinds of music, movies (whether it be on the big screen or on the couch with a DVD), concerts, football (Go Steelers!), casinos, walks, geocaching and I'm open for new experiences. I'll admit, I've been lax in getting out to do physical activities. Joined a gym for 2012...now whether I actually go to it still remains to be seen :p If I get nothing else, a work out buddy would be great to have!
My daughters are my first priority and I hope to find someone who can respect that. I do not intend on introducing them to anyone I date unless I felt there was potential for a happy, stable relationship. To be honest, they have never met anyone yet but they are encouraging me to date so that's a good sign! :)
With that said, I need to find someone willing to take things slow. I want someone who would prefer to spend his free time with me but understands that we do not need to spend every moment together. At the same time, I also hope to find someone who really does love children. Patient enough to tolerate a teenager but young at heart to enjoy time with my little one.
Some other qualities I hope to find are honesty, compassion and definately a sense of humor. In addition, I firmly believe that physical intimacy in a relationship is very important and should happen often ;)
I'm not limiting myself to only men in my area. I can do my job from anywhere so I am open to relocation if the right man came along.
