'About me' is a hard to write, but here a teaser:
I am from Madison but it always seemed like we were moving both in the Midwest and internationally (not military). I am close with my family and it is because of them and my upbringing that I value roots and community, yet desire change and adventure. Outside of work I spend time on house projects, walking with my dog, doing as much as I can outside, and spending time with a great group of friends.
My undergrad is in political science, and I got my MBA in entrepreneurship from the UW to better assist me in my business aspirations. I enjoy entrepreneurship and the strategizing how to turn passion into reality and am a part of a couple start-ups but my passion is in running a couple of small boat marinas in Madison. My life is seasonal with the summer spend working and playing on the Lake; I take the fall to enjoy WI including paddling nearby rivers, camping and hiking; during the winter I enjoy traveling and learning something new; and in the spring I refocus on the upcoming summer and get ready to do it all again. It is a joy to be able to build my business and life around things I value: good people, water and the outdoors, the chance to serve, and family.
In regards to who I am looking for-honestly I am not exactly sure. I attracted to women who have a diverse range of interests, who are passionate about what they do, who enjoy exploring and being involved in their community, who have a worldly view, and enjoy adventure. But I also want a girl who likes to laugh, dream about what they are going to be when they grow up, someone who will call in sick to work in order to go sledding, someone who enjoys 'intelligent' conversations after one too many beers, tailgating, and happy taking a weekend to get lost in a movie marathon.
