I am a happy girl who sees the bright side of things. My friends tell me I always see the good in people. I love to laugh and enjoy nature, animals, and the outdoors. I laugh at the simple things in life and it's the surest way to win my heart! I especially love turtles, hence the username. I love to scuba dive, which is where I really fell in love with turtles. I seem to find peace while diving. I have been to some beautiful locations to dive and I'm always looking for new adventures, preferably with a partner. In a world seemingly full of chaos I look for calm and peace and often find it in the outdoors (or under water).
I love to be outside, be it going to the beach (my favorite place), a hike in the woods, or just a stroll outside to enjoy the fresh air. My dream is to one day live on or closer to the beach. I could sit and watch the waves all day; there is something mesmorizing about them. Although I'm happier relaxing in my jeans and a t-shirt, I have several sexy dresses hanging in the closet just waiting for an excuse to be worn!
I'm a simple girl. I don't need to be impressed by your car, job, or finances. What I do care about is how you treat me. And how you treat your dog, the waiter, and the cashier at Wal-Mart. In other words, what kind of person are you on the inside? What kind of manners do you have? How respectful are you? Although I do want to be treated like I'm someone special. And I don't just mean flowers on my birthday. That's a given, boys :). I mean a text message for no reason just because you're thinking of me. Or flowers because you know I had a rough week at work. I want to know that I am someone special in your life. And I promise to do the same for you.
I've had an interesting career path in life, from education to non-profit to government work. It just means that I can hold my own in just about any situation. It also means that my job does not define who I am. I prefer it that way. Leave work at work.
By the way, spelling and grammar do count!! You don't need to be an English teacher, but you should know the difference between your/you're and they're/there/their. This is your first impression after all!
