I'm much better with this face to face. Put me in a conversation and I'm good.
I have experience quite a variety of things. From serving in the military over in the Middle East, living in Chicago, and now Columbus for the past five years I have amassed quite the stories.
I love to make people laugh and find using humor is a great way to break the ice. I don't get embarrassed easily and accept when I'm wrong. Meeting new people is something that I strive to do continuously and can hold my own in almost any setting.
My nephew and niece are the most important two people in my life. They are teenagers so they don't necessarily find their uncle as cool as they once did. I also have a Godson in Chicago who my closest friends are outstanding parents of. I'm the guy that spoils him. I do enjoy spending time with all my friends and their families. For some reason I connect with the kids, maybe its a maturity thing or maybe its just the fact that they have cool toys I never did when I grew up (maybe I still haven't). Then there is Sidney, my beautiful dog. She's my baby!!!
I've made mistakes and don't clamp to be perfect. What I do strive is to be the best person I can. I try to volunteer and give back and feel I should do more. My loyalty, friendship and honor are the things I value the most.
I appreciate attractiveness but really like natural beauty. Would like someone who does not need to have make up on constantly. I will say this, I'm a complete sucker for a pretty smile. I'm not as in good shape as I once was but do enjoy going to the gym a few times a week or running. Also, I have tattoos, all hidden with a short sleeve shirt but if it's something that really bothers you, don't want to waste your time.
A companion will challenge me yet accept me. She will be open enough to discuss anything, including telling me something I'm doing wrong, but won't get embarrassed if I revert to my childhood on occasion. We will want to share in new experiences. We will not try to change each other but grow individually within the relationship.
