Hi, my name is Teddy.
I guess I'm looking for a sort of package of qualities in a woman. I would love to meet someone who is mature and stately, independent and self-reliant, educated and intelligent while at the same time kind, humble, down-to-earth and honest.
I'm an east coaster, originally from outside of Philadelphia and I love Philly sports teams. I moved to the San Diego area in 2009. I have a bachelors degree from Annapolis in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. I don't use my major but I stay current on foreign affairs. Nor do I stay current on my Spanish. I'm half Cuban but my Spanish is horrible.
I love to cook, I cook a lot and I think I cook well; ask my roommates for the truth. I build and restore furniture and I enjoy the greater outdoors (mountains). I crossfit, I run often but I've been a swimmer my whole life. I especially like to ski and generally be in the mountains. Of all these things, cooking, building and skiing are my three loves. I love designing new projects to build (I want to design my house someday) and I love to experiment in the kitchen. I've skied all along the East Coast and even in Japan. I may ski-bum for a year.
I love inclement weather. I prefer rainy days to sunny days, I miss seasons and I'd honestly rather shovel snow than sit on the beach. Not to say sitting on the beach isn't nice. I would just rather shovel snow. Don't read into this.
All-in-all, I'm an easy going and happy person that's just looking for an equal in life. Not the same person, an equal. "She" will know what I mean by that. I also want someone who's happy. Not bubbly: again, I'm from Philly. Just someone who isn't depressing and occasionally lights up when she sees me. If you know who Ayn Rand is, even if you don't agree with her philosophy, we have a good chance of getting along.
One more thing...I'm bringing bow tie back.
