Let's face it, the bar and club scene get old after a while and it's hard to find people you really connect with. The online dating success of my sister has made me a believer that it can work, so here I am.
I like to be active and it is a large part of who I am. Whether it is running a marathon, competing in a triathlon, day-hiking Mt. Whitney, riding a century, or snowboarding down a double black diamond, I enjoy living life at the extremes. However, I have also learned that life is not about achieving a series of difficult goals or reaching for successes; it’s about the jouney in getting there and sharing the adventure. That’s probably why I have such a strong bond with my family, friends, and coworkers. My type A peronality also makes me career driven, but don’t be fooled with the intense exterior. I use humor to break it down and maintain my modesty.
I hold high expectations for myself so I'm committed to developing a relationship that is mutually supportive. Ultimately, I'm looking for someone who has a positive and energetic outlook on life and has their own individual goals; who wants to go out and explore new things and share the adventure, but who is also content with just spending time together at home watching a movie. I think everyone is looking for a serious relationship, but it will probably happen when you least expect it. Here is to exceeding expectations!
