I moved to New Haven in 2011 for residency and stayed. I spend a lot of my time traveling to NYC for friends and family. New Haven is an interesting place. Working in such a small community makes it really hard to meet new people. I've recently found an apartment in NYC in LES so when I'm not in New Haven, you'll probably find me in NYC.
I'm definitely an east coast baby. I was born in NY, raised in PA, lived in CT, MA, and FL. I really hate the question, "where are you from?" I find it hard to answer since I moved around so much. I just know I miss the larger cities.
I love to travel (duh? hence the name) and love adventure. My most memorable trip would have to be my 4 night 5 day trek in northern Thailand. I absolutely love to cook/bake and learning new recipes. Throwing dinner parties and brunches are two of my favorite things to do. I also love planning small trips, running, hiking, and cycling(with all the cooking and baking I do, I have to stay in shape.). Crossfit is my new thing... When I am visiting my family in Naples, I find myself fishing off the Gulf of Mexico and taking the jet ski out for a long run, but when I am in NYC, you'll find me exploring new restaurants, lounges, and of course, shopping
One thing I want to do is to jump in my car and drive coast to coast -=)
Who I am looking for?
A friend, and if something more comes from it, that's a plus. I'd like to meet someone fun, funny, intelligent, can handle my sarcasm, and spontaneous to explore new places with. Someone who is physically active is very important to me, I can't have a couch potato.
Smoking is a deal breaker. Cancer-sticks are not sexy.
