I am a California native. Other than the nine years I lived in New York City and the five years I spent in Hawaii, my native state has been my home. I recently moved to the area to pursue an M.A. in history. I look forward to starting a teaching career within the next couple of years, if I am able to find a job.
I am inclined to spend the free time I have going to cafes, movies, museums, or galleries. I also really enjoy going on hikes, taking walks on the beach, or going to parks such as Balboa. If you find any or all of these activities interesting, then I think in this respect we would have fun together. Now I do not frequent night-clubs or go bar-hopping. I do, however, love live music. So if a bar or club has some great live music playing, then I would go.
I consider myself to be witty and fun, as well as thoughtful, insightful, and intelligent. I would love to meet a like-minded individual, so that we could engage in discussions, debates, or critiques about our world. This is quite possibly my only must. If there is not a connection such as this, then we would have nothing to discuss, and would get bored with one another rather quickly. I am also pretty liberal minded. So if you are conservative, then it is highly likely that you and I would not gel. I would love to meet someone who shares similar interests, and then take it from there.
