Hello There! Just an outgoing, thoughtful gal here with a big heart and a big smile, looking for that someone special. My cousin actually just got married to a guy she met on Match, so I'm hoping to get just as lucky :) I've been told that I have a great sense of humor, an infectious smile, a bubbly personality, and apparently quite the conversationalist. In fact, my uncle says that I can "talk the fleas off a dog" ;)
I'm an intelligent girl, very loyal, and have an 'old fashioned' set of values. If you treat me like a princess/lady (ie: hold open doors, offer ur coat when it's cold, kill that big, hairy nasty spider that made me scream, etc) I will treat you like a king in return (ie: make you your favorite meal, surprise you with tickets to your favorite sporting event, give you a massage after a long hard day at work, and remind you of important family events/birthdays so that way your family thinks you really are paying attention).
Spending a night out on the town is a lot of fun, but I also like to stay at home and cook, watch movies, or have friends over to drink wine and play board/card games with. I wear minimal makeup (if any at all), and I prefer flip-flops, jeans and t-shirts, to heals and dresses. I'm not a high maintence girl, so if you're looking for that arm candy who gets her hair and nails done every month, keep looking.
I am very passionate about living a healthy lifestyle (wine's healthy right?) nutrition and alternative medicine. I'll take echinacea before Thera-flu, and ginger before pepto-bismol. I'm not a hippy, I just like trying healthy alternatives before going the western medicine route. It's kind of ironic since I work in a hospital, but that discussion is for another day.
I love traveling, trying out new restaurants, wine tasting, hiking, prefer walking over running, and going to movies. Also, I absolutely Love sports, and I LOVE going to ANY sports event.
My family likes to do a lot of things together, like running the warf-to-warf, traveling to europe, hawaii, disneyland, vacationing in tahoe, and spending the summers at our beach house in Aptos. My mom's an active socialite who loves to host parties and entertain friends, and I'm looking for someone who will join my fun lovin' family.
Things on a profile that make me hesitate to respond: -not smiling in pictures. Life is so Amazing, how are you Not smiling? (unless you're doing your best impression of blue steel, then it's ok) -a guy who's age range for a woman is like 20 years younger than him, come on, that's just creepy, - and if you have more pics with your shirt off than on, if you need that much attention, then I'm probably not your girl.
Things on a profile that catch my eye: -a funny picture. Life can get stressful and overwhelming at times. Someone who can remind me of the funny things in life is Definitely a keeper. -a family man. My family is my heart, and I'd like to find someone who's close to their family too. -a man of faith. I'm not a "bible thumper", but my faith definitely affects me enough to know that it won't work out with an athiest or a practicing buddhist.
