So, here goes my second round with the match madness. I didn't have much luck finding love the first time, but I still believe in happily ever after. You can call it naivety, stupidity or simply hope. My search parameters are wider than most, as my children are young adults and I am free to fly where ever this life takes me. I will leave my original story below, as the basics of who I am are unchanged, but I do believe that perhaps the last line of my bio should be read twice:)
I don't want to type my life story here , but I guess I should let you take a glimpse inside. I love music, sunshine, dancing, my family, my friends and tequila-- especially the last two combined--they bring out my playful side. But closest to my heart are my teenage children, who have actually evolved into very affable beings. I like to think I possess a well-developed sense of humor and that I am relatively intelligent. I enjoy a passionate intellectual debate every once in a while, and I do expect to be respected for my thoughts, whether you agree or not, just as I will respect yours. Correct grammar (my mother is an English teacher), an organized closet (which no matter how hard I try I can't seem to master), and doing a crossword puzzle on the beach (perhaps with a cocktail) make me smile. I believe that life is what you make it, although I have had to pick myself up off the ground a couple of times just like everyone else. It is what you do with the lessons of those nasty experiences that counts most. As most of my friends are married, I would love to find someone fun and interesting to explore life with, even on a "just friends" basis. And in an effort to be clear... control freaks, racists, and those with mental health issues are asked to kindly leave me alone:)
