What do you dream, what do you wish for, why are you part of this world, have you made the world a better place? Please make me think there is something special about you. Please tell me a wild interesting story about you, yes brag.
There are people who plan their lives in a manner which takes down a path that leads them to sitting next to a pool in Florida, reading a book, and waiting to die. They have jobs with nice pensions, savings accounts, and secure investments all to bring them to a nice retirement in their golden years. In the end they live a life that is marked by a wake, a tombstone, and an estate sale. I am not one of those people.
I was born and raised in Chicago, have traveled much of the world, work in Washington, D.C. where I wear designer suits and dine in the finest establishments. I have chosen to risk all that I am and have to be something more, different, better. To always ride a wild horse and to be part of that creature, to venture above and below the surface of the earth and to know her forces can destroy me in an instant, to be part of the wilderness if only to feel nature on my skin.
I challenge myself, at the risk of my own wealth, to bring a better world. and have done it, but will never be finished doing more.
If you can understand such things, perhaps you are one of my kind. If you are a woman who can think beyond your painted toe nails, your mother's pre-determined proper path in life for you, and any over whelming need of social acceptance; you might be like me.
I am certain you love to laugh (I did once meet a women who loved to cry) and have fun, you seek adventure, are a positive thinking person, like sporting events and concerts, wish to travel the world, and want to live life to the "fullest." To this I say, so what and what have you really done and/or will do that shows you have a soul, what is it that makes you special, or gives reason to you as a woman to stand out from the ordinary? You are very much welcome to challenge me in the same manner. What does it mean to be "easy going?" "Easy going," sounds like a slug. Never in my life have I been "easy going" or ever wish to be.
For thousands of years people have thought about, written of, and sung songs of love and we still have not figured it out. We really could learn something from dogs and horses, because they seem to understand love without ever speaking a single word.
Adventure involves some level of risk, it is not found on a cruise ship in the Bahamas. I am a former Army infantry officer, Ranger type, real adventures give me a rush and some have caused considerable injury.
Perhaps there is woman who feels and understands me without a single word ever being spoken and I know her the same. The only way I have ever been able to explain that sort of thing is by saying I want a chemical bond. To travel the road with me, a woman must be fit and healthy. She must also have her own points of view and have the strength and other abilities to express them solidly. There is no such thing as a perfect match, but we can learn from, and grow to accept and care for what is different.
The one thing I know I will never achieve in life is that I will never go into space. Perhaps I was born hundreds of years to soon. Deep space, not this space shuttle nonsense. What wondrous things must be out there, if only we had a way to go.
If your heart has never been broken, perhaps you have never loved. If it has, move forward, because love grows every where, and you will find it again. Please get over any past and present issues with EXs and offspring.
