I am at the time in my life where the things that are most important, are most important. Family, and so there is no confusion, I am the father of four adult children. Three are married, and have started their own families. When we are together, along with all the other family members, it is a noisy, exciting group. We have been through several very critical events in life together, and they have molded us.
I believe I have characteristics, and qualities that have served me well, and will continue to do so. I have lived through a lot so maturity comes to mind, yet I am not mature enough to come in out of the rain sometimes. In other words, I still have young side of me, and lots of energy to live it out. I am very loyal, and committed to my significant other. I am not interested in dating for the rest of my life, but I will date that special lady for the rest of my life.
Most of my friends are amazed at my energy level. I stay some what fit by playing basketball 3-4 times a week, fall through spring. I box for an hour, and usually follow up with a boot camp style of workout for another hour. I do that two times a week. I eat mostly healthy, well maybe occasionally, all right maybe not very often. I really like Gilles vanilla custard, a lot. I would like to take dance lessons to get my feet to move on their own, and not on the feet someone else. Not really that bad. Was about to begin the process a few years back when I lost my partner, and I just can't get my mop to work out.
I would like to find the special lady that completes me. I have a lot of life to live yet, and a lot of life to give yet, to that special lady. I want the sparks to flame, and the fire to start that never burns out. I want the smile from across the room, when our eyes meet that says, " I am so glad you are mine." I want every morning to see in the eyes a wonderment, and every night the peace.
I hope this gives the beginnings, a chance to know me a little, without having to write my autobiography. Besides I can not write it yet. In order to complete it, I have to meet you.
