I'm a 26-year old woman from the Bay Area who recently moved to Fresno to start a new job. I've been here for about 6 months, but my work doesn't allow me to meet a lot of new people, so I decided to try the online thing for the first time.
A bit about me: I should probably start by saying that I'm really not good at talking about myself, so whatever you're about to read probably won't completely reflect who I am. If, after reading this, you want to know more, just ask! I'm an open book. That being said... here goes... I was born and raised in a small town near Berkeley. I'm fluent in French because my parents (quite randomly) decided to send me to a French school from the ages of 4 to 13. I grew up living next door to my best friend, and she is still one of my closest friends today. I'm also very close with my parents. Basically, my friends and family are very important to me. I love to travel and experience other cultures. I've visited several countries in Europe, and I travel to Taiwan every few years to visit family that I have there. I don’t particularly enjoy cooking, but I’m not completely useless in the kitchen (and I’m always willing to clean up if someone else does the cooking). I would rather walk somewhere than drive (which has made adjusting to life in Fresno a little tough because everything is really spread out). I’m honest, optimistic, caring, and sincere. I smile easily, laugh constantly, and am very low maintenance. I prefer my life as drama-free as possible, but I feel well-equipped to deal with drama if and when it finds me. I also try to be very self-aware, and although I think of myself as a good person, I'm constantly trying to be better.
What I'm looking for: I'm hoping to meet a nice guy with a great sense of humor who shares at least some of my interests, and/or who will get me interested in new things. My ideal guy is smart, ambitious, and easy-going. Cheaters, liars, and game-players need not apply.
