I probably haven't completely figured myself out yet. I'm a thinker, I follow politics and the news as much as I can stand.
I love a good play or movie.
I enjoy live music (rock, jazz, blues and the like...no country). I've tried to teach myself to play guitar in the past...I may try again.
I love being on or near the water. Poolside of beachside are my favorite places on vacation. Equally content in a big city or secluded cabin in the woods.
I throw in a good dose of low-brow entertainment and gossip-mongering to keep it real.
I am not one-dimensional, nor am I'm complicated. It takes some time to REALLY get to know me. I'm like a sweet vidalia onion...I have many layers. It's worth the effort to peel them...
My Ideal Person: A guy whose work inspires him, but does not consume him; someone who has direction, but is open to exploring new paths; who likes playing sports and watching them; who doesn't mind mainstream movies, but appreciates the independents or oldies and knows his film history.
I am looking for someone who is genuine, kind, funny, responsible, intelligent, someone who is comfortable in many different surroundings; patient, kind, loyal, honest, and all those other Boy Scout things. Most of all I want someone who can laugh with me and at himself, who doesn’t sweat the small stuff and always sees the bright side of life.
I am not looking for someone to make me whole or rescue me. . . I have a very full and satisfying life, but I would like someone to add to this and share the day to day events, good and those not so much. I think that cuddling up with that someone special at the end of the day makes the whole day worthwhile.
