I'm a traveler/love to travel like 99.99% of the people on this thing will report; I spent most of my 20s living in different places all over the world, for work, boyfriends and for just for the sake of wanting to explore and see if there was anything better for me out there. I've only started to settle down this year since I've grown tired of getting on planes and having to essentially restart every time I land in a new city. As great as it is to meet new people and explore new places, it's also great to be home in a familiar place where everyone speaks your native tongue and knows your quirks. I've had a lot of different jobs over my short lifetime, but I now work as a freelance writer.... I try to get out as much as possible because I work from home, and my social skills start to degrade pretty quickly when I only communicate with people via internet. (Google: "Why working at home is both awesome and horrible - The Oatmeal " -- that pretty much sums it up.) Apart from hanging out with friends, I volunteer with kids and seniors and walk dogs because I wish I had my own dog (purely selfish reasons). I play a little soccer once in a while, I'm part of a cooking club, I love mountain activities (I'm from California), I'm always looking for a new hobby and will sign up for all kinds of classes, I love TV and I read a lot of articles which I share with friends and expect them to read too so that we can discuss and/or laugh about them.
