Before going back to school I was a Teach For America corps member. Now I am finishing my MBA and working for a company that is helping students prepare for the transition from high school to college. Although I take work and school seriously, I make sure that I don't let either define my life. I try to play a sport at least once a week, but I would play sports everyday if I had more time to myself. I love to travel, and have recently discovered that I really enjoy hiking. I also enjoy a good book, but most of my reading right now is directed around school. After 1 year in the DC area I have learned a few things: 1. DC sports are cursed. 2. Greenpeace volunteers should be avoided at all cost. 3. Half the people I meet in DC claim to be training for a marathon. I'm amazed that half the people in a city can run 26.2 miles. 4. DC people are very open minded...until I bring up going to an Arlington bar. I think this is due to Arlington bigotry. I am looking for someone who is caring, fun and loves to travel. I need someone who is able to hold a conversation. Also, please don't be an Arlington bigot!
