I'm a Miami native- a rare breed- although I've lived in New York, Argentina, and England. In Argentina, I picked up some tango, learned a decent Spanish, and found my inner carnivore. I love to travel and experience other cultures. I've visited Australia, most countries in Europe, and several countries in Africa, Asia, and South America. Although I wouldn't call myself particularly athletic, I like to be active, exercise regularly and enjoy spending time outdoors (hiking, boating, at the beach). I love movies and theater. Dancing is one of my passions, particularly belly-dancing right now, but sadly I haven't been discovered yet. Fortunately, I like my day job. On an average weekend night, you'll usually find me having dinner or drinks with friends. I love food and wine so I like trying new restaurants, and when I have time, cooking for friends.
Professionally, I sold my soul out of law school to become a commercial litigator but redeemed myself by working as a public interest lawyer for the past several years. I'm an attorney at a non-profit organization and feel lucky to have a job that I'm passionate about, that I find fulfilling, and that I genuinely enjoy. Giving back to the community, whether financially, through work, or as a volunteer, is something that's important to me, and I would prefer that my partner feel the same way.
I'm incredibly grateful for having an amazing close-knit family and wonderful close friends, many of whom are like family to me. I'm proud to say I've known my oldest friend since we were one! Those closest to me would probably describe me as passionate, intelligent, caring, positive and compassionate.
I'm looking for someone who shares my passion for travel and is a little bit adventurous. I'm more attracted by intelligence and wit than by a six pack (although a six pack never hurts :)).
I am much more likely to respond to a thoughtful message than a wink or a message saying hello (or similar original introductions).
