Fairly new to Paso Robles, CA. I am a transplant from Ohio. I work over an hour from where I live and don't have a lot of time to meet new people in the area. I figured I'd give this a shot so that on my 3 day weekends I can have plans to get out of the house, it would be nice. I am a 35 year old graduate of Ursuline College, with a masters in art therapy. Art is an important aspect in my life I love to create art, mostly ceramics and photography(always looking for new subject matter). I love the theater, art museums, and the orchestra. I used to work as an intervention counselor in the schools, dealing with at risk children. I worked through grad school as a bartender to make some extra cash. I am now working as an Art Therapist at a State Hospital in California. I enjoy the outdoors (camping, hiking, boating, etc.)and am a bit of a sun worshiper in the summer if my schedule allows it. My friends tell me I am a hopeless romantic with a wild side. I am sometimes very organized and like to go by a schedule but often I enjoy living in the moment. Family is very important to me and should be to anyone i would consider dating. I feel that trust and honesty are the two most important factors in any relationship.(friendship or more) I guess it is also important to note that I feel any relationship should not be 50/50, rather it should be 100/100. I am looking for a man who... can challenge me in an intellectually stimulating conversation, is rugged yet classy, is romantic yet realistic, will sweep me off of my feet on a regular basis,(I would like to be surprised occasionally whether it be a weekend trip, a dinner out , a flower, or even a note on my pillow... it really is the little things that mater) is gentle yet strong, is kind yet intimidating, will make me feel safe when i am with him, has a life plan, is career oriented but will in time make adjustments for a family. I would be lying if I said looks weren't important, but if you don't have the personality to match, the wrapping paper only looks nice until you rip it up to find what's inside.(I am big on metaphor, it's the only way middle school kids understand real life situations and the risks of the decisions they make). I appreciate both brains and muscles. I also have a pride factor with the military, therefore it would be a bonus to find someone who has served in the armed forces. And lastly I am NOT looking for someone to support me financially, I consider myself pretty independent, but... I need someone who is financially stable enough to support themselves because I can't afford to support someone else (I am a state employee...), nor would I want to.
I realize that to the world I am just one person...I can only hope that to one incredible person...I am the world.
Please be fair, I would appreciate recent and true pics that are an honest representation of you, now, today...
