I believe everything happens for a reason, and whether that makes sense today or years from now, it always "is what it is"!!!
This past October I accepted a job offer and moved to HHI. Since my career is quite demanding and can be time consuming, it makes it difficult to meet anyone. While I enjoy being social and meeting new people, "rolling solo" has been my overall island experience. The restrictions of Hilton Head Island are a huge disadvantage for new residents, particularly young adults, to establish a social life or friendship base.
I have concluded its time to venture away from this "deserted island"!!!

Someone with a sense of humor * Easy going persona yet has an intuition to "take charge" only when necessary * A Man that isn't threatened by a confident & outgoing woman * kind & thoughtful * Has no fear in being honest (hey, everyone has a past. Its what you learn from those experiences that ultimately determine the "person you are today" * ALWAYS remain true to who you really are... if you feel it is necessary to fabricate who you are or what you've accomplished in your life... in the end, you're denying yourself true happiness!!!
Oh yeah... and have FUN often as possible. If you cant find humor in the messed up world we live in I believe you'll eventually self destruct.
