Once upon a time, in the Basque Country of Spain, I returned from my first attempt at surfing. Exhausted, I contemplated the remainder of my day in the beautiful town of San Sebastian, 20 k from the French border. Adventure seemed out of the question until a need acquaintance opined, "Chris, your only enemy today is yourself." I pondered this statement and then following my new friend onward to the Igeldo Lighthouse, Parte Vieja, and thereafter Pamplona, for the rambunctious Running of the Bulls. I have since lived my life by the maxim I learned that day.
I believe that what you care about and those who you spend a great deal of time with, shape you. I love to show appreciation to my family and friends. I enjoy spending time with new and interesting people. However, I am very grateful for those I have in my life. I would like to meet someone who is caring, like-minded, honest, and thoughtful.
I am a supervisor by day and an aspiring web designer by night. I am successful, articulate, confident, and ambitious. I enjoy the finer things in life, travel, and adventure. However, I equally enjoy an evening with friends, a great workout, a good book, or a delicious meal at a new restaurant. I speak English and Spanish and I love having the opportunity to speak to other people in my second language.
